Meeting and Pickup
- Meeting Point: Hilton Beijing Wangfujing (Address: 8 Dongchang'an Jie, Dongcheng District, Beijing, Postcode: 100006). Meet the guide with a Gold Crown flag at the hotel lobby door. You can also go to the meeting point by yourself or choose hotel/residence pickup (only available within the 3rd Ring Road in downtown Beijing. If you live farther away, you can reserve paid transfer when placing the order).
- Drop - off Point: The same as the meeting point. Return here after the tour.
Itinerary Stops
- Tiananmen Square
- In the morning, the guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby. The first stop is Tiananmen Square, the largest city - center square in the world. Travel along Chang'an Street and pass by landmarks like the Great Hall of the People and the National Museum (formerly known as the Museum of Chinese History and Revolution).
- Duration: 40 minutes, Admission Free.
- Pass By: Chairman Mao Memorial Hall (Located in the center of the square, commemorating the founder of the People's Republic of China); Great Hall of the People (On the west side of the square, the venue for important political events).
- Forbidden City - The Palace Museum
- Enter from Tiananmen and explore the largest imperial palace in the world. With a history of over 600 years and more than 9,999 rooms, it was the residence and ruling center for 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is highly recommended to spend a few hours to appreciate the historical and architectural grandeur.
- Duration: 2 hours, Admission Included.
- Pass By: Meridian Gate (The main entrance of the Forbidden City, once used for royal ceremonies).
- Key Visits: Hall of Great Harmony (The core of the Forbidden City, where grand ceremonies like imperial enthronements were held), Duration: 30 minutes, Admission Included; Imperial Garden (At the northern end of the Forbidden City, a representative of classical Chinese gardens), Duration: 30 minutes, Admission Included.
- Mutianyu Great Wall
- At noon, the guide will take you to a local restaurant to enjoy an authentic lunch. In the afternoon, head to the Mutianyu Great Wall (one of the Seven Wonders of the World). This quieter section offers a relaxed hiking experience, allowing you to explore for about 2 hours. The drive from the city to Mutianyu takes about 1.5 hours. Take a cable car to and from the halfway point for efficiency and energy - saving. At the end of the tour, the guide and driver will take you back to the hotel for a smooth and comfortable journey.
